Upper School Life Sports

 

Instructor: Sarah Blackwell

 

Life Sports teaches the value of healthy living and its impact on the quality of life through physical activity, appraisal of personal health, fitness and injury prevention, game skills, and the promotion of sportsmanship and self-confidence.  High school students focus on developing a personal wellness plan and choices for healthy living.  A primary goal is to have students participate in activities that help them learn to exercise at their target heart rate.
