Service Learning

Service Learning provides the students with monthly opportunities to be active members of the community. Third graders focus their service at The Haven in Charlotte.  The Haven is an assisted living residence designed for individuals with early, middle, and late stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia.  Students interact with the residents through games and activities.  Through magic shows, Irish dancing, and musical performances, the students enjoy entertaining the residents as well.
