CONGRATULATIONS TO LACHLAN AND BRIANA FOR SCORING HIGHEST IN THE WOODLAWN MOVIE PROJECT!  THEY WON BY A LANDSLIDE, SCORING HIGH IN EVERY CATEGORY WITH ALMOST EVERY PERSON IN THE AUDIENCE!  GREAT JOB, LADIES!!!

Everyone needs to stay posted to see their video on the Woodlawn site soon.  Thanks for participating.  I think all of the movies looked great!

Next assignment...

THINK  COMMERCIALS!!!  What is your favorite commercial?  Why is it your favorite?  Why would people be drawn to it or to the product?  Are they humorous?  Are they tear-jerkers?  What kind of commercial could you make?  What would you sell?  How would you sell it?

Jan. 10:  Group 2 works on Woodlawn movie

Jan. 17:  Group 1 finalizes Woodlawn movie

Jan. 24:  Group 2 finalizes Woodlawn movie

Jan. 31:  All 7th grade with Dalton to view all Woodlawn movies

Feb. 7:  Assembly presenting Woodlawn movies to middle and upper school

As of January 24th, everyone should be finishing their movies.  I have to admit, I am not only proud, but very impressed!  I cannot wait to see final projects!  The deadlines remain the same even though we had one snow day.  Please use any extra time during the day like flex and lunch, to help you get your projects finished. All finished movies will be shown to me on Thursday, Jan. 31st for class assessment.  Any final "tweaking" before presenting to the middle and upper school students MUST be done prior to February 7.  Please remember that all photos, music, and text should be appropriate.  A good rule of thumb is, if you have to ask, I probably wouldn't use it!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND EFFORT!!!
