All projects are to be completed in class during project work time!

 

Extra Practice

There are additional exercises at the end of the textbook and in the student workbook.  I have Algebra and Geometry workbooks and worksheets available.  There are math websites where the students receive immediate feedback.  They often find these websites more interesting than working on paper.  You can find practice and quizzes at education.yahoo.com, algebra1.com, and algebra2.com.  There are also exercises at math.com.  Drill down in homework help to math help, and then to algebra or geometry.

 

Extra help is available whenever you do not understand the class lesson or an assignment.  I will always ask for questions when we review a homework assignment or when you are completing a graded portfolio item.  I am available to answer questions in WHA at the following times:

·      5^th period lunch on Thursday

·      5^th period lunch on Wednesday

·      After school on Thursday (schedule with me in advance so I know to stay)

·      Before school on Wednesday (schedule with me in advance if you will be here early)
